Directions
- Remove excess water and make sure your hair is towel-dried before use.
- Prepare your hair with ghd's Sleek Talker.
- Slide the power button upwards to switch on your Duet Style. After a few seconds, you'll hear the fan ramp up to the optimal styling temperature for wet hair. Once the light stops flashing and the product beeps, it's ready to use.
- Divide your hair into manageable 2-inch sections, no larger than the width of the plates.
- Take a section of hair and place Duet Style near the roots, pausing for 3 seconds.
- Slide the hair towards the ends at a slow, steady pace. Repeat until hair is dry and move on to the next section, again starting at the roots.
- Once all your hair is completely dry, for an optional shine boost, activate Shine Shot™ by pressing the Shine Shot™ button for 4 seconds until you hear a beep (Shine Shot™ should only be used on dry hair.) The fan will stop and the plate temperature will increase to ghd's optimal styling temperature of 365°F. Once the product beeps and the lights stop flashing, Shine Shot™ is ready. Your Duet Style can now be used like an ordinary flat iron.
- If you wish to return from Shine Shot™ mode to wet styling mode, press and hold the Shine Shot™ button for 2 seconds. Your tool will beep while the plates cool and the fan starts up. The "ready to use" tone sounds when the tool is safe to use on wet hair.
