RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

If you are not completely satisfied or pleased with your Beauté Star purchase for any reason, we will gladly exchange it, refund it or issue a credit to your account as soon as possible. Returned products must be new or slightly used. Electrical products and jewlery MUST be packed in their original packaging.

Beauté Star monitors customer return activity resulting from abuse, and if we detect or consider excessive or potentially fraudulent activity, the customer initiating such activity may be informed in writing that Beauté Star will no longer accept any returns from the customer, with or without a receipt.

All returns are subject to validation and approval at the discretion of Beauté Star. Beauté Points associated with all refunds will be deducted once the transaction is processed.Items shipped to Beauté Star beyond the return period that are not slightly used or in good condition, do not have the original Beauté Star packing slip, or were not purchased from Beauté Star, may not be credited, or returned. We will not offer replacements or refunds for orders or items that are reported missing or damaged.

Here are a few more details :

  • You must return the products within 60 days of the date of purchase to be eligible
  • All returns must be accompanied by the original sales receipt or Return Authorization document if the return is not made at one of our stores or with a professional customer representative
  • The refund will be made via the original method of payment of the purchase. If it is impossible to use this same method of refund, Beaute Star will issue a gift card equivalent to the amount of the return
    • If you paid with a credit or debit card, you will receive a full refund on your credit or debit card.
    • If you paid with Sezzle, there are two refund options depending on your chosen return channel:
      • Return via carrier : you will receive a refund via Sezzle who will then process your refund according to your original method of payment
      • Return to store : Beauté  Star will issue a gift card and you will continue to make your Sezzle payments (just as if you had originally purchased a gift card rather than products)
      • If you paid with a Beauté  Star Gift Card or Beauté Points you will receive a refund in the form of a Beauté  Star Gift Card
      • For beauty professionals only: If you have charged your purchase to your account, a credit will be issued in your customer account
    • If there is an impediment to using the original method of payment, Beauté Star will issue a Beauté  Star gift card for the amount of the return
  • Beauté Points awarded for the purchase of a returned item will be deducted from your Beauté Points account if applicable

ONLINE SHOPPING

Your online purchases can be returned via carrier, in one of our Beauté Star stores or with your representative (professional customers only). Please note that shipping charges paid with your original purchase will not be refunded and that return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is the result of a shipping error or products damaged in transit.

1. Return By Carrier

In order to avoid shipping costs and speed up your refund, you can return your merchandise to any of our Beauté Star stores (professional customers only). However, if you decide to return your items via carrier, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping. The choice of carrier is at your convenience but we strongly recommend that you use a return with package tracking to avoid potential loss of packages by the carrier.

Please complete the online form or contact customer service at 450-967-7827 (1-800-361-1978) to obtain a return authorization document. We will send you an email with the authorization document to print and include with your return. Please return your items to the address below and include in your return box the return authorization document received via email by our customer service department.

Once we have completed the processing of your return, we will submit a confirmation via email. If the refund is applied to a credit card, please expect a delay of 7 to 10 days following receipt of the confirmation email before the transaction appears on your credit card statement.

Please note that we are not able to offer exchanges by carrier. However, we are happy to exchange your new or minimally used product at one of our Beauté Star stores within 60 days of purchase (business customers only).

2. Return/Exchange in Store (professional customers only)

In order to avoid shipping costs for your return, we recommend that you bring your merchandise back to one of our Beauté Star stores. Simply bring the item(s) you wish to return to the store with the original order confirmation email, the sales invoice received by email or the priceless sales invoice that was included in your shipment.

3. Damaged Products or Ordering Errors

Don’t worry, we will correct this unfortunate situation for you. Simply fill out the online form or contact our customer service department at 450-967-7827 (1-800-361-1978) and we will send you a return label (if applicable). We will proceed to send missing or damaged items at our expense.

4. Return/Exchange via your Representative (professional customers only)

If you have a sales representative assigned to your customer account or if one of our stores is accessible to you, we recommend that you deal directly with them for your exchanges. In-store exchanges are always the fastest and cheapest way to do business. However, we understand that our stores are not accessible to everyone, which is why your representative will always be able to take care of this type of file for you. The processing time for an exchange is 10 business days following receipt of the item(s) at our warehouse.

5. Precisions concerning the purchases on our website

It is important for us to offer you a service and products that meet your expectations and needs. However, we reserve the right to revise an inaccurate price or description and to cancel or refuse an order in which some items have an inaccurate price or description. These corrections may be made after the order has been accepted. If the error is related to our inventory and in order to resolve the situation as soon as possible, we reserve the right to refund the product directly.

A cancellation of an order placed on the website may occur if, for example, the items ordered cannot be shipped due to unforeseen circumstances. If this is the case, customer service will contact you directly.

The price of each product is linked to the size and not to the photo.

ONLINE INVENTORY AVAILABILITY

Beauté Star makes every effort to ensure that products available for sale are in inventory. In the event that an item is no longer available due to an inventory shortage following your order, we will indicate on your sales invoice and on the priceless sales invoice received in your package that the item is no longer available and you will not be billed for that item. We do not manage out-of-stock items for subsequent shipment unless the item was a gratuity related to your purchase.

SHIPPING AND RETURN COSTS

If your product is damaged during transport or if there is an error in the preparation of your order, the delivery and return costs will be assumed by Beauté Star. For any other reason, delivery charges are non-refundable and return shipping costs are your responsibility. Business customers only: If you wish to avoid these fees, we encourage you to go through one of our stores or your representative for your returns. For electrical appliances, you MUST have the original packaging on hand to qualify.

Returns are made by the carrier of your choice. This means that the responsibility for the delivery, as well as the resulting costs, is also yours. We recommend that you use a shipping method that will allow you to track your package using a tracking number. If you are returning potentially hazardous materials (e.g. peroxide or aerosol bottles), make sure you deal with a transportation company that accepts to deliver this type of product. We suggest Canada Post, Canpar, FEDEX or UPS as a carrier.

PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMERS ONLY

IN-STORE PURCHASES

The return or exchange of items purchased in one of our stores can be made in-store, with your representative or via carrier. The conditions of eligibility for a return or exchange of items purchased in the store are the same as for purchases made online. It is important to note that these items must be returned within 60 days of the date of purchase, accompanied by the receipt. Midi34 brand jewelry must be returned to the store where the purchase was made. This applies regardless of the method used to return your item.

EXCHANGE OF ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS OR FURNISHINGS UNDER WARRANTY

For our professional customers only: We respect an additional year’s guarantee from the salon to the consumer upon presentation of proof of the sale of the product to a consumer.
br>JEWELRY EXCHANGE UNDER WARRANTY (MIDI34 ONLY): The brand is guaranteed for 1 year for defective products. They must be returned to the store where the purchase was made for an exchange with presentation of the original receipt.

FINAL SALE

For various reasons such as hygiene, some products constitute a final sale and are not refundable or exchangeable, unless the product is damaged as defined above.

NOTE WITH RESPECT TO FRAUD PREVENTION AND VERIFICATION

For verification purposes, we may ask you to provide us with your name, address and telephone number at the time of return or exchange. You may also be asked to provide photo identification to confirm this information. This information is collected and used in accordance with our privacy policy and under the Privacy Act.

FAQ

No, the refund of your return will be made via a Beauté Star gift card that can be used for a subsequent purchase.

Unfortunately the coupon is no longer usable despite the complete return of the original purchase.

Beauté Points earned on the initial purchase will be deducted from your account.

We cannot refund you in cash the amount of the return. However, if you have a gift receipt upon return, you can either exchange the product (see policy above) or we can issue you a Beauté Star gift card for the amount of the return.
